Your Occupational Therapy Solutions is a sole therapist and mobile occupational therapy practice based near Warrnambool in South West Victoria and run by founder Lauren Parkinson.

Lauren has over 15 years experience working with adult and older clients who experience a wide range of functional limitations impacting on their ability to participate in daily life. 

Lauren currently offers occupational therapy services for both adult NDIS participants and older clients who are in receipt of a Home Care Package.

Lauren has specialist skills in the following areas:

- Home modifications including complex home modifications (Lauren is an NDIS  complex home modification assessor).

- Low Vision.

- Dementia including dementia with behavioural and psychological symptoms.

Lauren can also provide the following occupational therapy services for adults with a range of functional  limitations:

- General home and functional assessments for older adults to support their safety and independence at home and in the community.

- Functional capacity assessments,

- Functional capacity assessments to assist with Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation eligibility. 

- Assistive technology solutions to support a person's safety and participation at home and in the community.

- Falls prevention strategies within the home environment.

I work part time and at present only have capacity to accept referrals that relate to the need for complex or major home modifications whilst I support my existing clients.  I will be taking all referrals again from 30 January 2025.
